There is(was)+no +動詞ing句型，表示做某事是不可能得。意思相當(dāng)于 It’s impossible to do sth.或 We can’t do sth.,表示“不可能做某事”。

There is(was)+no +動詞ing結(jié)構(gòu)相當(dāng)于It is(was) impossible to +動詞原形，如：

There is no saying what may happen.= It is impossible to say what may happen.

說出將要發(fā)生什么是不可能得。

There is no going home. =It is impossible to go home. 回家是不可能得。

There is no living with him.=It is impossible to live with him. 和他住在一起是不可能得。

It is impossible to know what may happen. 不可能知道會發(fā)生什么。
